I don't see the reason why people are willing to go to war in the name of God. I think is is just an excuse. The more people subscribe to the same religion, the more powerful the ruler; the wealthier the royal coffer.
Fine, I am not subscribing to the mainstream thought. I am not going to say I believe in God, the afterlife and the Judgement of Heaven. All those are thoughts that I have when I was in mania, thus I undergo the Peak Experience because of the dopamine surge.
It does feel lighter not thinking about the abstract thoughts.
Just say THERE IS NO GOD. However I cannot tell for sure. There are so many things that I don't know that I don't know. Thus I cannot be absolute in my thinking when comes to God and No God. What I can say is I will only believe there is God when there is evidence in believing such a thing.
In the mean time I am an Agnostic Atheist with the inclination to believe if there is proof.
Otherwise I will hold to the belief that everything is God. This is not the same as believing there is God. This is saying since everything is God, then there is no one single God.
This also means since I am my own God, I govern my universe autonomously. In my realm there is the Adjoining Croissant. I am in charge of my own White Space.
Everything is not based on reality but rather on imagination. Therefore the notion of God and afterlife is just a fiction.
What am I saying here? I am saying that I create my own fantasy of God when there is none.
This is a never ending debate.
